A Sneak Peek At Our New Location and Bathroom Remodeling Projects

Easter is fast approaching and several Easter celebrations are already taking place across Poplar Bluff. It’s a great weekend to get out and celebrate!

But for now, let’s look at some of the projects we’ve been working on this past week. We’re also giving you an update to one of the projects we’ve featured on our last post.

Building Our New Home

After a lot of successful client projects we’ve handled, it’s time to showcase our skill by building our new home.

That’s right! The Custom Remodeling Specialists team is moving to a new location and we’re excited to work on turning this empty space into something that can show our workmanship, and a place we can call home.

We can’t wait to complete this renovation of our new space and show you the finished product. We’ll keep you posted!

A Complete Bathroom Renovation

Your bathroom is one of the main features of your home and you’d want to keep it looking brand new. But over the years, your bathroom may lose its beauty and even a thorough cleaning won’t make a noticeable difference.

In this case, a complete renovation can help you get your bathroom’s glamor back. We did just that for one client this week. Here’s a quick glimpse of what it looks like when we started the project:

For this bathroom renovation project, we installed a new HD laminate countertop, replaced the backsplash with a Mohawk mosaic tile, and used the stain-proof Fusion Pro grout which doesn’t require sealing.

We also repaired the subfloor, installed a new Sterling tub and shower doors, and a new faucet. Lastly, we used a Mohawk 12x12 porcelain on the wall with a mosaic band at the top and finished it off with Fusion Pro grout.

We’re wrapping up, and we’re excited to show you the finished look on our next update!

Master Bathroom Remodel Update

Remember the bathroom floor installation we’ve shown you last week?

The floor tiles were already installed! However, we’ve also worked on other parts of the bathroom and we’re a few steps away from finishing the task. Take a look at the other improvements we’re doing for this project:

Aside from the floor, we’ve also painted the walls with Sherwin William’s PVA primer and 2 coats of Sherwin William’s ProMar 200 in Tony Taupe. We then installed an MSI caramel mosaic to provide a smooth transition between the tile and the wall.

Finally, we stripped and refinished the tub skirt and cabinetry using Minwax pre-stain, special walnut penetrating stain, and finished it off with 3 coats of Minwax satin polyurethane.

Wait for our next blog post for the updated look!

It’s been a busy, yet fulfilling week for the CRS team and we’re ready to take on more projects these coming days!
